Cat Grooming in Mid Wales and North Wales

Our Mobile Cat Grooming Services

dry grooming of cat

Full Dry Groom

A full dry groom includes a thorough brush out to remove dead undercoat, precise spot removal of surface knots, a tailored sanitary/hygiene trim (can include tummy tidy and trousers), plus claw clipping and gentle eye and ear cleaning.

NB: If knots can’t be removed by brushing, it might be necessary to spot remove tighter knots with clippers. Refer to the Matting and Coat Condition Pricing Guide table.

From £55

lion cut full clip cat grroming

Full Clip (Lion Cut)

Lion cuts can be essential for cats who have widespread matting or are pelted over multiple areas of their body.

A lion cut may also be suitable for cats with dense fur if they are having difficulty maintaining their coats. Clippers are used to shave the fur close to the skin.

This service also includes claw clip and eyes and ears cleaned.

From £75 - £115

teddy cut for cats

Comb Cut (Teddy Cut)

Clippers with a comb attachment are used to make a long-haired cat’s fur shorter, but not taken down to the skin. Suitable for cats who find it difficult to groom, or owners who prefer the coat to be a more manageable length.

NB: A Teddy Cut carried out outside of a salon, might not have the best finished ‘look’, but your cat will be much more comfortable. This cut is not suitable for long-haired cats with matted or pelted fur.

From £85 - £115

cat claw clipping

Claw Clip

When cat’s claws get too long, they can curve round and pierce the paw pad and even become ingrown.

Most outdoor cats will naturally keep their claws well maintained through climbing, scratching and hunting. Indoor and elderly cats who are less active will need a claw clip to help keep their claws in good condition.

From £20

sanitary and hygiene trim for cats

Sanitary / Hygiene Trim

Trimming fur around the bottom, genitals, and tail base helps prevent poo or litter sticking, especially in long-haired cats. It reduces matting, improves comfort, and supports hygiene.

Particularly useful for elderly or less mobile cats, as it helps them stay clean with less reliance on grooming themselves. Can include tummy tidy and trousers trim.

From £20

tummy trim at mobile grooming for cats

Tummy Trim

The Tummy Trim is a great option for cats that get knots on the tummy, groin and armpits.

Clippers are used (either with or without comb attachment) to reduce the length of the fur to remove and prevent knots and make the fur more manageable to maintain.

From £20

pelt removal cat grooming

Mat & Pelt Removal

Using clippers, the fur is shaved down close to the skin around the matted or pelted coat, leaving the remainder of the cat’s fur intact.

This is an option if a full Lion Trim is not required or not in your cat’s best interests.

From £30 - £60

cat toe tufy treatment

Toe Tufts

Using clippers to remove fur on and around the cat’s paw pads.

This can help prevent litter getting stuck in the fur and keeps paws clean and tidy.

From £5

cat grroming trim

Bib and Mane Trim

This involves trimming back the fur on the cat’s chest. For some long-haired cats, chest fur can get in the way while they are eating and if food gets stuck, this can lead to knots and tangles.

Trimming this area helps reduce tangles and prevents cats from ingesting fur.

From £5 - £10

Multiple Cat Discount

I offer grooming services for two or more cats in the same household on the same day, with discounts available for multi-cat bookings.

This option provides convenience for owners and helps reduce stress for your cats, as all grooming is completed in a single visit.

Price on application

How Pricing Works

  • Pricing reflects time, care, and welfare needs
  • The more severe the matting, the more specialist handling and clipping required
  • All grooming is carried out with your cat’s comfort and safety as the priority

*IMPORTANT:  Your total price is made up of travel to your home, the grooming service, plus an additional coat condition (matting) fee, as outlined in the table below.

Mileage Pricing

To keep rural visits sustainable, I factor in:

  • Fuel and vehicle costs
  • Insurance and business overheads
  • Travel time (often 2–3 hours round trip)

Travel is shared where possible to keep costs fair. In addition to the grooming charge, travel fees are:

  • 1 client → £35
  • 2 clients → £20 each
  • 3 clients → £12–£15 each

Split Groom Appointments

In some cases, a groom may need to be split over two or more appointments in the interests of your cat’s welfare.  Where this is required, the full groom price continues to apply, along with a £25 split session fee and travel costs for any additional visits. This approach ensures your cat’s comfort, safety, and well-being remain the priority at all times.

Fleas and Parasites Policy

If fleas, ticks, or other external parasites are discovered during the groom, a mandatory deep cleaning surcharge of £10–£20 will be applied to cover the additional sanitation required.

If any contagious condition, such as ringworm, is suspected or identified, the grooming session will be stopped immediately in the interest of health and safety. Full or partial grooming fees may still apply.
